Tokyo Treat Shop – Part 2!

front

Not too long ago I received my very first box from the Tokyo Treat Shop (not to be confused with Tokyo Treat which is their subscription service) and I loved it so much that I decided to place another order. I picked the cheapest shipping cost for both boxes and while the first one came after 20 days, this one came a lot quicker (10 days). Despite the Pakkuncho Disney biscuits (which I got in the previous box) there were several new things to try!

After a long, difficult week with a cold this wonderful surprise showed up at the post office! You might recall that I ordered my very first Tokyo Treat box a while back and let me tell you – it was totally worth the $34.99 I spent. The premium box was not only generous but the products were super fun and playful. Let me show you!

Organic Treats From Apotea

If you follow this blog, then you might remember that my mom got me the most amazing care package during the holidays. She told me she bought everything at Apotea, a sort of Swedish online pharmacy that not only sell health care products but also food, snacks and drinks, much of which are organic and vegan (to a reasonable price). I just finished the box she got me and decided to check out the Apotea online store (because #treatyoself, am I right?).

A Little Taste of Tokyo

premium-plan.png

I’ve been wanting to try a subscription box filled with Japanese treats since forever, and while researching for my trip to Japan today I stumbled over Tokyo Treat, a subscription box company that sell boxes filled with full size treats directly from Tokyo. I decided to give it a shot and ordered the premium box for $34.99 which contain 16-18 Japanese snacks and candy, 1 DIY candy kit, 1 drink and 1 special item. The reason why I picked Tokyo Treat over other companies was the option to cancel at any time, the website, which was super easy to navigate and the free shipping worldwide. I can’t wait to see what I get in my box! (It should arrive between 20th-28th so keep an eye out in February!)

This is not sponsored in any way, I just have a quirky way of trying to get inspired before going on a trip. (And in my book, eating weird stuff is a pretty good way of doing so.)

I Received a Yummy Gift

1a

I’ve always been a sucker for things that improve my level of coziness – Fluffy socks, tasty treats, bubble baths, scented candles. No one knows this better than my parents. This Christmas they really surprised me when they gave me the best Christmas gift ever – a very thoughtful care package filled with fairtrade, vegan snacks and teas that they had handpicked, most of which I had never even tried before myself.
